An excellent opportunity for grades 3 to 5 students to see live farm animals and meet the farmers who raise them. Presenters from the agriculture industry will lead students through interactive activities that will increase students’ understanding of agriculture. The Beef Education display is part of the Prince Albert Ag Education Showcase each year.

CWA is working on a free, fun, easily accessible digital compilation of age-specific activities for teachers and students that highlight the same kind of ag education thousands of students experience at Agribition every year. Beef Education resources are sure to be included.

Each year thousands of spectators of all ages visit the Beef Education display, located in the Family Ag Pavillion, during Canadian Western Agribition to learn about beef production in Saskatchewan. This is Saskatchewan’s largest Beef Education event of the year!

The Yorkton Exhibition Association hosts Ag Ed school tours for around 1200 students at its Annual Harvest Showdown. This event is held each October in Yorkton, SK and the Beef Education exhibit is always glad to take part!

This year, Ag-Experience is a virtual event. This event is available to teachers with classrooms and for at home learning throughout the 2020/2021 school year. Please register your classroom or at home student starting Oct 15. To register visit here

AG-EXperience is held each October for approximately 800 grade four students over the three days.

The objective is to provide a fun, educational, hands-on, multisensory environment for students and teachers to learn about the value and impact of agriculture on the daily lives of Saskatchewan people. Students are guided through a variety of stations facilitated by industry personnel and volunteers relating to agricultural. Activities are centered on raising livestock, growing crops, production techniques, the environment and safety.

The Beef Education exhibit sets up in the Country Lane area at the Colonial Days Fair in Lloydminster. Just look for the big red barn to find this fun, educational, hands-on area for kids! Located in the Dick Jones Sales Pavilion! Country lane hours are 11:30 am to 10:00 pm daily.

Discover the Farm is a great opportunity for grades 3 to 5 students of Swift Current and area to participate in this interactive educational experience. Information relating to farm animals, food production, and farm safety will be shared with students through a brief presentation, followed by an activity. A third day is usually open for the public of all ages to participate. The Beef Education Display will be there!
